LENTIL PEAS
Lentil peas is a hearty and nutritious dish that combines lentils and peas with a variety of vegetables and spices. Ingredients
- 1 TSP VEGETABLE OIL
- 1 TBSP BUTTER
- 1 CUP ONION (DICED)
- 3 TBSP PIMENTO/ SEASONING PEPPERS (MINCED)
- 1 TBSP GARLIC (MINCED)
- 400 G LENTIL PEAS
- 5 CUPS WATER
- 6 CUBES MAGGI® ONION AND GARLIC CUBES
- 2 TBSP CHIVE (MINCED)
Preparation

1In a medium pot, heat oil and butter on medium heat. Sauté onions, pimento peppers and garlic until onions are translucent.

2Add lentil peas, water and MAGGI® Onion and Garlic Cubes.

3Bring water to a boil and reduce heat to a simmer.

4Cook until peas are tender. Stirring every 5 minutes to prevent sticking.

5Add chives to the pot, stirring to incorporate. Serve immediately.
