CREAMY GARLIC SHRIMP
Creamy garlic shrimp is a delicious and indulgent dish that features succulent shrimp cooked in a creamy garlic-infused sauce. The shrimp is typically sautéed in butter or olive oil until they turn pink and are cooked through. Then, garlic is added to the pan and cooked until fragrant. A creamy sauce is created by adding heavy cream or a combination of cream and chicken broth to the pan, along with herbs and spices like parsley, thyme, or paprika. The sauce is simmered until it thickens and coats the shrimp, creating a luscious and flavorful coating. Creamy garlic shrimp is often served over pasta, rice, or with crusty bread to soak up the delicious sauce.
Ingredients
- 2 LB SHRIMP, PEELED AND DEVEINED
- 2½ TBSP MAGGI® SEASON UP FISH
- 3 TBSP BUTTER
- 2 TBSP GARLIC, MINCED
- 1 TBSP ONIONS, MINCED
- 2 TETRA BOXES CARNATION® FULL CREAM EVAPORATED MILK, 250 ML
- ½ CUP PARMESAN CHEESE, GRATED
- ½ TSP PARSLEY / CILANTRO FLAKES
- ½ TSP LIME JUICE
Preparation

1Season the shrimp with one and a half tablespoon of MAGGI® Season Up Fish and marinate for 10 minutes.

2Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a heated sauté pan over medium-high heat and sauté shrimp just until cooked for 4 minutes. Remove from the pan and hold.

3Add remaining butter to the pan, sauté the garlic and onions for 3 minutes before pouring in the CARNATION® Full Cream Evaporated Milk, remaining MAGGI® Season Up Fish, and parsley flakes. Bring the mixture to a simmer before adding the parmesan cheese.

4Return shrimp to pot and toss in sauce, simmer for 3 minutes before removing from the heat and finishing with fresh lime juice. Serve hot over pasta or Basmati Rice.
